Monty Don opens up on ‘daunting’ changes to gardening role: ‘You get older’ – Daily Express

Monty Don opened to BBC customers on the “overwhelming” challenges of creating a garden later on in life during Friday’s Garden enthusiasts’ World. The 66-year-old confessed that the prospect of taking on a yard from the ground up can feel frightening for his generation. However, he supplied some wise words of wisdom after a customer shared a touching story regarding developing a yard in her 80s.

During the episode, the horticulturist discussed the job included with expanding as well as maintaining a yard, adding that older garden enthusiasts can commonly be reluctant to begin any type of huge tasks.
