Master Gardener Sandy Knight has gotten a 2022 Outstanding Master Garden enthusiast award from the Illinois Master Garden enthusiast program. She was recognized at the fall Illinois Master Gardener Conference and awards event in Tinley Park.The Outstanding Master Gardener State Award honors the best Illinois Master Garden enthusiasts. Just the leading 2 %of Illinois State Master Gardeners win this award each year. They must surpass in management, decision, positivity, effort, and be extremely involved in the program.Knight of Pontiac is a passionate garden enthusiast who makes every effort to share her knowledge with others, according to the University of Illinois Extension. She shares through educational programs on various gardening subjects to community groups throughout the county.It was also kept in mind that Knight routinely contributes ideas and offers her support to numerous area jobs, including the Yost
